CEDAR | European Muslim Professionals Network

In collaboration with the CEDAR Web Committee, the CEDAR Policy and Politics Working Group is developing CEDAR web pages dedicated to fostering European Muslim engagement in political life. Focusing in this initial phase on the UK, France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, these webpages will include a collection of short inspiring video clips of Muslim political officials, the searchable database of elected Muslim officials, web-links to political parties and links to NGOs, think tanks and mentoring schemes focused on public political participation. Watch here Former Dutch MP and member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy and The CEDAR Network Fadime Örgu speaking with conviction on how and why she got involved in politics.
