CEDAR | European Muslim Professionals Network

At CEDAR Professional Development Masterclasses, young Muslims are inspired and challenged to consider professional development and enterprise start-up through first hand accounts from Muslim and non-Muslim professionals and entrepreneurs. Through a mix of presentations, discussions and hands on activities Masterclasses help young Muslims to gain a deeper understanding of the practical aspects of professional and entrepreneurial development and develop work related knowledge and skills. Drawing on a range of professionals, sessions broaden students' perception of available careers and help them to think and act strategically around their skills, goals and dreams.

CEDAR Inspiration Days bring together business representatives, CEDAR mentors and young people aged 15 to 18 around themed information stalls for one-to-one exchange, advice and inspiration. Offering up to 500 young people access to a wealth of personal and professional development opportunities, the Inspiration Days target in particular young people from ethnic minority backgrounds.Through ‘Inspiration Days’, the dedicated CEDAR mentoring program for young people aims to foster a culture of success and aspiration across Europe’s diverse communities and increase cross community and cross generational dialogue.
