CEDAR | European Muslim Professionals Network

The event included a variety of lectures and workshops delivered by a range of professionals.  A lecture by Dr. Hisham Hellyer, University of Warwick, as well as workshops by Ahmad Abdelmonem, AKE Bildungswerk, ZDF Journalist Abdul-Ahmad Rashid and communications expert Ahmed Larouz from The CEDAR Network, provided inspiration and valuable knowledge around project management and the power of networking. By presenting innovative ideas, sharing thoughts and initiatives, participants engaged in peer-to-peer learning and an exciting Dragon’s Den style project presentation.Amongst the numerous project ideas presented to the experts, three were chosen as clear winners and each received funding to help implement their ideas. All projects presented will be allocated CEDAR advisors to help develop ideas and to continue the support. The conference proved to be a groundbreaking networking experience for young Muslims in Germany and CEDAR was delighted to participate.
